Headteacher Message 29/04/2022

Welcome back after the Easter break. I hope everyone had a chance to relax and enjoyed having the children at home for the holiday. Just a reminder that Monday 2nd May is a Bank Holiday and the children will return to school on Tuesday 3rd May.

This week the Year 5 children have started their weekly swimming lessons at William Brookes School and have really enjoyed the experience. These will continue for the rest of the half term. The Year 6 children are gearing up for the return of the KS2 SATs. The tests take place during the week commencing 9th May. I’m sure the children will do themselves proud and rise to the occasion. Other notable events coming up include the long awaited return of the school disco. This will take place after school on Thursday 19th May. Look out for details coming out soon. The Year 4 children will also be going on their 3 Day residential visit to the Pioneer Centre. I know from past experience that the children will gain so much from the experience.

As always please do get in touch if you have any suggestions or comments about the school. Have a nice May Day and I will see you all next week.

The children have chosen Meatball Subs for their Pupils Choice for Friday 6th May – sounds delicious.
